Create Your First Post

Learn how to create and schedule your first social media post with Fanbeam.

Step 1: Open the Composer

1. Click Composer in the sidebar
2. Click Create Post or use the keyboard shortcut (Cmd/Ctrl + K)

Step 2: Select Channels

Choose which platforms you want to publish to:

• Select one or more connected channels
• Each platform will show a preview of how your post will appear

Step 3: Add Content

1. Write Your Caption - Add your post text with hashtags and mentions
2. Upload Media - Add images or videos (optional)
3. Customize Per Platform - Adjust captions and media for each platform

Step 4: Schedule

Choose when to publish:

• Schedule - Select a specific date and time
• Draft - Save for later
• Publish Now - Publish immediately

Step 5: Review and Publish

1. Review your post preview
2. Check platform-specific requirements
3. Click Schedule or Publish

Tips

• Use the media library to reuse images across posts
• Create post variants for different platforms
• Use the calendar view to see all scheduled posts
